During that time I was on the Convocation Council in the mid 80’s, and wrote articles for the Crawley magazines and for the UWA history Campus in the Community for the 75th anniversary. During later careers in the arts and retailing I was on the committee of Friends of LWAG, and still a member of the Friends. More recently I was on the founding committee of the Collectors’ Club which puts thousands of dollars into the visual arts in WA each year. Since retiring in 2013 I have been an enthusiastic member of U3A and its courses, and general supporter of the arts community. I now have more time for community work, and would like to put some of it on the Convocation Council at a time when UWA needs all the graduate support possible. I retain extensive networking in the arts community, and see Convocation as an opportunity to encourage graduates to make use of the stimulating events on the campus.
