Extracts from feedback received about the Convocation

50th Reunion for the Graduates of 1967, October 21st 2017.  The photos are of The Hon Robert French AC, UWA Chancellor-Elect, 1967 Guild President Peter Edwards and 1967 Committee members Cynthia Gregory & Pauline Tremlett.

"I smile every time I think of the reunion! It was great to catch up with old friends. My only complaint is that I would like to have gone on ALL the tours!"

"The day was very special to all who attended this trip down memory lane. It was great to renew old acquaintances over a delicious meal in the Old Ref and view changes to the campus under the guidance of expert tour leaders. I only heard positive comments from people around me and I feel it is fitting to pass them on."

"The five tours covered many aspects of change at the UWA campus. I chose the Reid Library with Glynis Jones.  We were able to see sections of the library usually not available to library users. It was a mind blowing experience for me. I will certainly take my older grandchildren to see the library and hopefully encourage them to choose UWA for their tertiary studies."

"I joined the tour of the Grounds and it was worth attending for that alone."

"The tour we did with Terry on Winthrop Hall was wonderful. Can’t believe I knew so little about the history and architecture. But I guess at 17-20 years old, there were other priorities!"

"… My friends from 1968 Graduation are looking forward to their lunch already".

But the Uni has lost contact with some of them. Please go through the  list and advise us of their whereabouts at Convocation email.Thank you!
