Convocation Undergraduate Prize in Bachelor of Art
"I was an Engineer for nearly 20 years working in the steel industry, before I realised my passion for ancient history.
Any hours not working were spent reading history, so I decided to indulge my interest at UWA.
I only intended to do a few subjects to test the water, but the course and lecturers were amazing, and I just kept studying outside of work hours. It was greatly rewarding."
Convocation Undergraduate Prize in Bachelor of Commerce
"Coming to UWA to further my studies has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I am very humbled to have been awarded the Convocation Undergraduate Prize in Bachelor of Commerce, and this would not be possible without the support of my family and friends, the dedicated teaching staff and the resident life coordinators from University Hall. I would also like to thank all of the donors for making this award possible.
The funds will be used for continuing my education in the field of finance, which will allow me to better equip myself to serve the needs of the industry."
