Convocation Day celebrates the inaugural meeting of the Convocation of UWA Graduates in 1913.
Convocation Day 2020
This year we also celebrated the 75th anniversary of the first performance in the Somerville Auditorium.
The Warden of Convocation Dr Doug McGhie and the 2020 Guild President Bre Shanahan planted a tree along Saw Avenue to commemorate the day.Convocation members and their guests then adjourn to Somerville Auditorium for a re-enactment of the first musical performance in the Somerville.The event was well attended by over 170 people.
